BABY FRY!!!

I managed to get three of the eggs laid on 12.26.12 into a breeder box.  One hatched on the morning of 12.31.12.  He is adorable!  He was very round with a long tadpole tail.  I had to tie a filter sleeve to the bottom of the box, hopefully he will not be able to squeeze out.  He also seemed to get stuck in between the box and the divider, but he got out.  He sits around a lot and responds to light!  On day two I could see that he became more oval like.  He has tiny fins and barbels!  Here is a link to videos of him on day two...

Hopefully this evening he will be hunting for food :)  I also need to give his little box a water change.  There is food sitting in it.  We have made eye contact...

I also picked up an assassin snail on Sunday.  He moved around the bottom of the tank and the betta slowly followed him.

Corydoras trilineatus

This morning, the pair of Corydoras trilineatus started mating.  This is their second time.  The first was for a few hours about two weeks ago.  Today it lasted at least six hours.  I was able to get three eggs into a breeder box.  I hope we can get some hatch lings!  The female, Django, hides them in the plants.  I added some stress coat to my tank, to help Kraken, one of the male guppies.  He torn his tail almost to the base.  Feff, the female oto is huge.  I believe that she is filling up with eggs.
